  • Bachelor’s degree with certificate of completion of studies

  • 1+ year of experience in roles such as Media specialist, digital media specialist, marketing analyst (with media management focus) or digital media buyer at a media agency

The Amazon Mexico Brand Marketing team is looking for a Paid Media Manager to plan and execute mass-media cross channel (TV, Digital, Social, OOH) paid media activities for the Amazon Brand in MX. THe Paid media manager will control media budgets and approve all media plans to improve our local brand metrics.

Key job responsibilities
  • Budget management: Control all brand marketing budget, write POs for vendors and ensure proper accounting
  • Own media plans: Work with our external agencies to deliver and run high-performing. cross-channel mass-media plans and
  • Run 1st party advertising: Design and implement social advertising campaigns to improve our brand metrics
Experience in media management is required. We expect the ideal candidate to be familiar with Meta Business manager and/or other partner tools required for running digital campaigns.
Candidates must be highly analytical and able to make data-driven decisions.

A day in the life
The Paid Media Manager will own our mass-media activities. They will need to work with the campaign managers to create briefs for the media agency, review and approve media plans based on previous campaign leanings and manage the budget for all our brand-driving campaigns.
They will also have the unique opportunity to test and iterate with 1st party data campaigns, directly running budget lines on digital media to drive customer acquisition and engagement.

About the team
The Brand Marketing team runs all cross-channel marketing investment to drive top-of-the funnel metrics for Amazon Mexico Stores business.

  • Familiarity with A/B testing
  • Budget management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Use of SQL or similar
  • Ability to leverage insights (qualitative and quantitative) to design and implement innovative engagement programs
  • Knowledge of media publisher buying tools
