Experienced In House Loan Modification Processor
We are seeking a Loan Processor to join our team at a busy real estate law firm. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and knowledge of contracts and lender guidelines.
Duties:
- Review loan modification applications for completeness and accuracy
- Verify income, employment, and credit history of loan applicants
- Calculate debt-to-income ratios and other financial metrics
- Prepare loan modification documents for underwriting and loss mitigation departments
- Communicate with borrowers, underwriters, and other parties involved in the loan modification process
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Basic math skills are essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
