We seek a Break Person in our Wrapping Department ensuring that finished product is prepared properly for movement through the Wrapping Department (slicing and wrapping operations) onto the Shipping Department. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL TASKS • Responsible for placing trays with product into empty racks or baskets on stacks and tagging those racks/stacks properly, while keeping track of the orders that are completed and watching for non-conforming product. • Assists the roll line operators in looking for and discarding any non-conforming product and helping with change over from one product to the next. • Trays must be stacked neatly and evenly as to allow the unstacker to perform its intended job.

• Must keep a steady flow of trays to the machines in order to keep the machines running at the desired speed by watching for tray jam ups and double trays. • Responsible for helping with clean up duties on the baggers, palletizing/stacking areas. • Ensures that all baggers, slicers, APHs, and tiers are powered off. • Removes all carts/dollies, barrels, shovels etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Preparation and Training Work requires a high school level of knowledge of several subjects in order to perform calculations, keep accurate records and/or deal effectively with people. Work Experience Typically between one (1) and three (3) months of bakery experience is required for preparation and training to meet quality and quantity standards of the job. Must be capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects such as packaged product, pallets and racks.
