Travel position available in Worland, Wyoming for Banner Washakie Medical Center, for Registered Nurses on the OB Unit and Med/Surg Unit. Nurse must be able to care for the L&D patient, and be willing to care for post partum patients and well babies. Due to the small number of OB patients at Washakie Med. Center, Travel Nurse will also need to float to Med/Surg Unit either as staff nurse, or at least as "helping hands". Weekend rotation required. On-call.
Preference would be for the OB nurse to be able to float to the Med/Surg Unit to assist as needed.
12 hour shifts, Night and Day shifts available.
Start date: ASAP

- Washakie Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital with "big city" capabilities including: 16 slice CT, digital mammography, 1.5 tesla MRI, fluro, full service lab with state of the art equipment
- Level III trauma ED staffed with fulltime physicians, surgery services which include 24/7 CRNA coverage including OB epidurals, 2 general surgeons, orthopedic surgery, and ambulatory treatment
- Numerous wellness activities, and active rehab department including pool therapy and cardiac rehab, sleep studies, total PFTs, and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:
- This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.

Required:
- Current Wyoming license.
- CPR/BLS
- NRP
- Must have at least one year current OB Nursing experience, and be able to care to the L&D and PP patients, and well babies.
- Must be willing to work on the Med/Surg Unit.
- No new nursing graduates will be considered for this travel position.
